About me
One of the best things I know how to do is put on a good audiobook or podcast and disappear into my own world to design and make jewelry. There is something magical about creating fluid, organic shapes in soft, fragile wax that then turn into beautiful jewelry in solid, shiny metal (coming soon to the online store!).
I draw inspiration from everything around me, and mostly from organic, natural forms such as heather and leaves, ice formations and cell networks. But also architecture, paintings, sculptures and other art can give rise to new ideas and designs.
Prosess
Jeg produserer alle smykkene i mitt lille men funksjonelle hjemmestudio. Noen smykker lager jeg direkte fra plate eller tråd i sølv eller messing. Andre smykker former jeg i voks, som så blir støpt i solid metall før de files, pusses og monteres.
Bærekraft
Jeg jobber kontinuerlig mot å drive så bærekraftig, miljøvennlig og etisk som mulig ved å minimere avfall, velge resirkulerte, bærekraftige og/eller etisk utvunnede materialer og resirkulere eller gjenbruke det jeg kan.
